近年來(lái)，隨著我國(guó)機(jī)械、汽車(chē)、家電、等國(guó)民經(jīng)濟(jì)支柱產(chǎn)業(yè)的快速發(fā)展，模具行業(yè)發(fā)展迅速，已經(jīng)逐步形成了產(chǎn)業(yè)集群，有效地帶了經(jīng)濟(jì)的快速發(fā)展。但與國(guó)外的同行相比，在技術(shù)水平上還存在著一定的差距。為了使模具機(jī)械和世界先進(jìn)水平接軌，我們應(yīng)該不斷增加對(duì)外交流。這就對(duì)模具行業(yè)從業(yè)人員在專(zhuān)業(yè)英語(yǔ)能力上提出了一定的要求，而作為培養(yǎng)應(yīng)用型高級(jí)技能人才的高職院校，迫切需要在專(zhuān)業(yè)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)上進(jìn)行改革，才能使畢業(yè)生符合用人單位的要求。目前，模具企業(yè)高層次技術(shù)人才缺口很大，成為突破企業(yè)人才發(fā)展瓶頸的關(guān)鍵。因此，企業(yè)急需一批既懂專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí)又懂英語(yǔ)的高層次工程技術(shù)人才。高職院校培養(yǎng)的學(xué)生應(yīng)具備較扎實(shí)的英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)和廣博的文化知識(shí)，并能熟練運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)從事相關(guān)專(zhuān)業(yè)工作的“復(fù)合型”人才。我從事模具專(zhuān)業(yè)英語(yǔ)的教學(xué)工作多年，想從以下幾個(gè)方面談?wù)劷虒W(xué)體會(huì)。
一、選取實(shí)用性、針對(duì)性的教學(xué)內(nèi)容
在選取教學(xué)內(nèi)容時(shí)，應(yīng)以實(shí)用為主，夠用為度的原則，以應(yīng)用為目的，就業(yè)為導(dǎo)向來(lái)制定，突出‘學(xué)中用、用中學(xué)’的教學(xué)特色。根據(jù)模具專(zhuān)業(yè)具體技術(shù)工藝要求和設(shè)備的具體情況來(lái)精選教學(xué)內(nèi)容，并將教學(xué)核心內(nèi)容“模塊化”，以求英語(yǔ)和專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí)的融會(huì)貫通，可將內(nèi)容分為冷沖壓工藝及模具、塑料工藝及模具、模具加工、模具材料四大模塊，每個(gè)模塊都選擇與實(shí)際生產(chǎn)相關(guān)的文章，且文章中有模具結(jié)構(gòu)圖例，學(xué)生結(jié)合已學(xué)的專(zhuān)業(yè)課程知識(shí)，便可以很容易辨識(shí)圖例中專(zhuān)業(yè)詞匯的含義，從而引發(fā)學(xué)生的興趣并樹(shù)立學(xué)習(xí)專(zhuān)業(yè)英語(yǔ)的信心。同時(shí)還可以選取與模塊內(nèi)容有關(guān)的背景知識(shí)，如產(chǎn)品使用的英文說(shuō)明書(shū)、招聘廣告的閱讀，簡(jiǎn)歷和求職信的書(shū)寫(xiě)等方面的練習(xí)。通過(guò)精選教學(xué)內(nèi)容，使學(xué)生在有限的時(shí)間里掌握更實(shí)用的知識(shí)和技能，并提高學(xué)生解決實(shí)際問(wèn)題的能力。
二 牢固英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)
扎實(shí)的英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)是順利閱讀的前提，抓英語(yǔ)知識(shí)必須從以下三方面下工夫。
1、詞匯知識(shí)
詞匯是閱讀理解的關(guān)鍵要素。閱讀能力的高低和詞匯量的多少是密不可分的。英語(yǔ)詞匯數(shù)量眾多，教師可以指導(dǎo)學(xué)生采取一些辦法，掌握盡可能多的詞匯。詞典是克服閱讀中字詞障礙的好幫手。通過(guò)查詞典，學(xué)生可以知道某個(gè)生詞的意思、詞性、用法以及它的同根詞的構(gòu)成、詞性和用法。運(yùn)用詞典可以快速高效地理解生詞，有利于擴(kuò)大詞匯量。英語(yǔ)閱讀中，遇到字詞障礙時(shí)，可以借助詞典來(lái)解決?？茖W(xué)記憶單詞有很多方法，可以在教學(xué)中介紹一些方法：（1）根據(jù)詞根與詞綴記憶掌握好詞根和詞綴,是加強(qiáng)詞匯記憶的有效途徑,很多專(zhuān)業(yè)英語(yǔ)單詞是由詞根加上前綴、后綴組成的合成詞,而且專(zhuān)業(yè)英語(yǔ)詞匯的前后綴專(zhuān)業(yè)性較普通英語(yǔ)詞匯強(qiáng),幫助學(xué)生分析單詞的結(jié)構(gòu),記住單詞詞根的意義,綜合分析單詞的基本含義,就能深刻地對(duì)單詞進(jìn)行理解,對(duì)單詞進(jìn)行科學(xué)的記憶（2）進(jìn)行聯(lián)想記憶聯(lián)想記憶就是引導(dǎo)學(xué)生找出單詞在基礎(chǔ)英語(yǔ)中的含義與專(zhuān)業(yè)英語(yǔ)中含義之間的聯(lián)系,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生通過(guò)聯(lián)想、比較、引申等方法,達(dá)到理解和記憶單詞的目的。（3）反義詞匯的比較記憶反義詞匯是指詞義相反的詞。課堂教學(xué)中,通過(guò)比較學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)生對(duì)專(zhuān)業(yè)單詞不僅記得快、而且記得多、記得牢[1]。
2、語(yǔ)法知識(shí)
具有一定的詞匯量后，學(xué)生可以進(jìn)行一些非常粗淺的閱讀，如果要進(jìn)行更深透的閱讀，還必須打好堅(jiān)實(shí)的語(yǔ)法基礎(chǔ)。英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法的難點(diǎn)在于漢語(yǔ)中沒(méi)有而英語(yǔ)中特有的項(xiàng)目，如英語(yǔ)中名詞的單復(fù)數(shù)、主謂語(yǔ)一致關(guān)系、定語(yǔ)后置等，都是漢語(yǔ)中所沒(méi)有的。運(yùn)用對(duì)比法，能激發(fā)學(xué)生的興趣，對(duì)所學(xué)知識(shí)留下深刻印象，從而突破語(yǔ)言的難點(diǎn)，這樣，學(xué)生就可以排除母語(yǔ)的干擾，把握語(yǔ)言的精髓，增強(qiáng)理解文段的能力。教學(xué)實(shí)踐證明，理解語(yǔ)法規(guī)則并不難，而要熟練運(yùn)用這些規(guī)則指導(dǎo)語(yǔ)言實(shí)踐卻是相當(dāng)不容易的事，沒(méi)有大量反復(fù)的練習(xí)是做不到的。只有通過(guò)大量的練習(xí)，學(xué)生才能牢固掌握語(yǔ)法知識(shí)，閱讀時(shí)才能充分地理解句子意思及其結(jié)構(gòu)。
三、加強(qiáng)學(xué)生英語(yǔ)閱讀能力培養(yǎng)
學(xué)生英語(yǔ)閱讀能力的形成與否，與教師的閱讀教學(xué)有很大的關(guān)系。我們知道，閱讀教學(xué)的主要任務(wù)就是提高學(xué)生英語(yǔ)閱讀理解能力，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生詳細(xì)觀察，假設(shè)判斷、分析歸納、推理驗(yàn)證等邏輯思維能力和速度能力。此外，還應(yīng)注意：
1、培養(yǎng)學(xué)生處理母語(yǔ)閱讀與英語(yǔ)閱讀的能力
學(xué)生已具備了一定的母語(yǔ)閱讀能力，漢語(yǔ)自然支配著他們的學(xué)習(xí)生活，日常交際、思維方式等方面的活動(dòng)。同樣，他們的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)完全是在漢語(yǔ)言文化氛圍中進(jìn)行的，漢語(yǔ)對(duì)其英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的過(guò)程有著重要的影響甚至是制約的作用。因此，評(píng)價(jià)并確定學(xué)生的漢語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言構(gòu)成和外在的漢語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言文化氛圍對(duì)英語(yǔ)閱讀教學(xué)過(guò)程的影響程度，使我們科學(xué)、客觀了解學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程進(jìn)而進(jìn)一步提高英語(yǔ)閱讀教學(xué)水平的一個(gè)重要的必備條件。學(xué)生在英語(yǔ)閱讀時(shí)，英語(yǔ)的文字符號(hào)、語(yǔ)言規(guī)則、語(yǔ)法規(guī)則、語(yǔ)用原則等與母語(yǔ)迥異以及母語(yǔ)的閱讀能力和技巧的不足等都會(huì)對(duì)學(xué)生英語(yǔ)閱讀能力和閱讀的速度的提高造成影響。因此，在英語(yǔ)閱讀教學(xué)過(guò)程中，教師應(yīng)有意識(shí)，有目的地介紹和傳授使用英語(yǔ)國(guó)家的文化背景知識(shí)以及與漢語(yǔ)言文化間的差異，提高學(xué)生對(duì)語(yǔ)言和文化差異的敏感性，使他們了解生活在不同社會(huì)背景中的人們的語(yǔ)言特征和文化習(xí)慣，減少母語(yǔ)對(duì)閱讀的影響[2]。
2、增加學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)閱讀速度
理解是閱讀的基礎(chǔ)，也是閱讀的目的，而速度則是實(shí)現(xiàn)這個(gè)目的的根本保證，也是衡量學(xué)生閱讀能力的重要標(biāo)志，還是獲得知識(shí)多寡的關(guān)鍵。在英語(yǔ)閱讀時(shí)，學(xué)生存在眼球運(yùn)動(dòng)不協(xié)調(diào)，眼睛停頓時(shí)間長(zhǎng)，次數(shù)多，目距短和回視等毛病，影響他們速度的提高。針對(duì)這一情況，教師須對(duì)學(xué)生詳細(xì)講解眼球的機(jī)械運(yùn)動(dòng)，視覺(jué)的距離，定睛定視以及如何避免回視等理論，讓學(xué)生從理性上有進(jìn)一步的認(rèn)識(shí)。通過(guò)單詞、短語(yǔ)、句子、段落的閱讀訓(xùn)練，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生良好的英語(yǔ)閱讀習(xí)慣。
3、培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語(yǔ)篇分析能力。學(xué)生的閱讀理解的提高與否，關(guān)鍵要讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)對(duì)語(yǔ)篇的分析技巧。這是因?yàn)?，它能培養(yǎng)或激發(fā)學(xué)生的創(chuàng)造性思維，有助于學(xué)生的語(yǔ)言能力和交際能力。因此，在英語(yǔ)閱讀教學(xué)中，教師所選用的閱讀材料在題材上盡可能的涉及日常生活，傳說(shuō)、人物、社會(huì)、文化、史地、一般科技、政治和經(jīng)濟(jì)等；在文章的體裁上，應(yīng)避免單一化，選用敘述文、描寫(xiě)文、說(shuō)明文、議論文和應(yīng)用文等。與此同時(shí)，教師必須對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行文章體裁特點(diǎn)的詳細(xì)分析，使學(xué)生熟練地把這些特點(diǎn)運(yùn)用到他們英語(yǔ)閱讀中，提高他們的理解能力。
四、提高學(xué)生專(zhuān)業(yè)漢英翻譯能力
1.培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語(yǔ)言感受能力。比如，在講授某一文體的翻譯時(shí)，教師可以向?qū)W生推薦譯語(yǔ)中相同風(fēng)格的范文，也可以讓他們通過(guò)internet或其它印刷材料來(lái)構(gòu)建自己的語(yǔ)料庫(kù)，讓他們感受名作、范文的遣詞、行句、謀篇，并定期、不定期地對(duì)學(xué)生訪(fǎng)談，檢查他們閱讀后的感受和收獲。翻譯基本技能除了傳統(tǒng)的口筆譯和各種翻譯技巧外，還包括利用電腦設(shè)備以及網(wǎng)絡(luò)設(shè)備為翻譯實(shí)踐服務(wù)的能力，利用現(xiàn)代信息技術(shù)被認(rèn)為是提高翻譯教學(xué)和培訓(xùn)效率與質(zhì)量的必由之路。
2.教師講解譯文時(shí)要點(diǎn)明并表?yè)P(yáng)學(xué)生的譯文精彩之處，對(duì)語(yǔ)言能力取得進(jìn)步的學(xué)生要及時(shí)肯定。教師要考慮學(xué)生的需要、興趣、特長(zhǎng)及其弱項(xiàng)等來(lái)組織課堂討論，激發(fā)學(xué)生的創(chuàng)造
性思維。要積極評(píng)價(jià)學(xué)生的優(yōu)秀譯文，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生對(duì)翻譯的自信心，力求最大限度地發(fā)揮學(xué)生的主觀能動(dòng)性，而不是像傳統(tǒng)教學(xué)法那樣，讓學(xué)生被動(dòng)接受老師布置的任務(wù)和“唯
一、正確”的譯文。變以“教師為中心”的教學(xué)模式為以“學(xué)生為中心”的教學(xué)模式[3]。
3.開(kāi)展適量的翻譯欣賞課，或讓學(xué)生翻譯一些名家譯過(guò)的作品，然后把他們的譯文與名家的作比較，并總結(jié)心得體會(huì)。語(yǔ)料庫(kù)和計(jì)算機(jī)網(wǎng)絡(luò)技術(shù)等現(xiàn)代信息技術(shù)的開(kāi)發(fā)和運(yùn)用給翻譯教學(xué)帶來(lái)了挑戰(zhàn)和變化，主要表現(xiàn)在翻譯觀念的轉(zhuǎn)變、教學(xué)手段的多樣化、翻譯課件的開(kāi)發(fā)和教室網(wǎng)絡(luò)環(huán)境的建設(shè)等方面。包括研制翻譯基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)和基本技巧教學(xué)軟件，建立多學(xué)科翻譯語(yǔ)料庫(kù)、學(xué)習(xí)者個(gè)人語(yǔ)料庫(kù)?？傊?，利用現(xiàn)代信息技術(shù)對(duì)提高翻譯教學(xué)質(zhì)量和學(xué)生能力的培養(yǎng)起到非常重要的作用[4]。
五、教學(xué)方法及手段的多樣性
傳統(tǒng)的專(zhuān)業(yè)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)方法是教師借助單一的文字教材或講義進(jìn)行講授，這種教學(xué)模式的結(jié)果是學(xué)生缺乏主動(dòng)性。教師的教學(xué)方法和手段，應(yīng)該根據(jù)學(xué)生的具體情況靈活選用。建立以學(xué)生為中心和主體的教學(xué)模式，即將模型教學(xué)法、問(wèn)題討論法、通過(guò)錄像展示生產(chǎn)過(guò)程教學(xué)法等教學(xué)方法引入教學(xué)中。鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生用英語(yǔ)闡述工作過(guò)程，或者在課堂上開(kāi)展以小組討論、小組演示、小組研究等合作性的活動(dòng)，努力實(shí)現(xiàn)“教、學(xué)、用”一體化。采用任務(wù)驅(qū)動(dòng)、角色扮演，設(shè)置典型任務(wù)，以任務(wù)驅(qū)動(dòng)教學(xué)。通過(guò)角色扮演等形式，引導(dǎo)和鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生運(yùn)用所學(xué)內(nèi)容模擬模具企業(yè)英語(yǔ)交流活動(dòng)。
采用多種教學(xué)手段，提高學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)教學(xué)效果和興趣。文字教材便于學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)，注意培養(yǎng)其學(xué)習(xí)能力和學(xué)習(xí)策略；課文錄音可以訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的聽(tīng)說(shuō)能力，為學(xué)生提供有聲的材料。收集帶英語(yǔ)解說(shuō)的生產(chǎn)錄像為學(xué)生接觸真實(shí)、地道的英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言提供條件，并能加深學(xué)生對(duì)生產(chǎn)過(guò)程的理解，激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的興趣。模具模型為各種模具模型及其零件制作英文標(biāo)簽、制作模型卡片。課堂上也可開(kāi)展一些語(yǔ)言技能的訓(xùn)練，為學(xué)生提供口頭交流的機(jī)會(huì)。同時(shí)注重引導(dǎo)和鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生運(yùn)用所學(xué)內(nèi)容模擬模具企業(yè)英語(yǔ)交流活動(dòng)，用英語(yǔ)闡述工作過(guò)程，自行完成一些小組討論、小組演示、小組研究等合作性的活動(dòng)。
如今現(xiàn)代化的教學(xué)手段為我們提供了許多的方便,例如多媒體教學(xué)設(shè)備就可使枯燥的教學(xué)鮮活生動(dòng)起來(lái)。用幻燈片、視頻展示出圖片和影視片段等,應(yīng)用圖像、文字、聲音的效果給學(xué)生聽(tīng)覺(jué)上和視覺(jué)上的觸動(dòng),加強(qiáng)學(xué)生對(duì)詞匯的記憶,從而提高學(xué)生對(duì)英語(yǔ)的敏感性和反應(yīng)的速度?，F(xiàn)代化的教學(xué)手段符合語(yǔ)言思維和學(xué)習(xí)的規(guī)律,是行之有效教學(xué)手段之一,可以激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,使學(xué)生在一種良好的環(huán)境下學(xué)習(xí)。在專(zhuān)業(yè)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)中,靈活運(yùn)用現(xiàn)代化教學(xué)設(shè)備適當(dāng)增加類(lèi)似的與專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí)密切相關(guān)的文化信息,對(duì)于提高學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)專(zhuān)業(yè)英語(yǔ)的興趣是大有幫助的。
六、提高學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)興趣，創(chuàng)新第二課堂
對(duì)于高職學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)，英語(yǔ)通常是他們的難題。尤其是模具專(zhuān)業(yè)英語(yǔ)，專(zhuān)業(yè)術(shù)語(yǔ)多，且其獨(dú)特的文體形式和表達(dá)方式，往往造成對(duì)文章內(nèi)容理解的困難，或在科技寫(xiě)作、翻譯中出現(xiàn)語(yǔ)言使用不得體、不準(zhǔn)確等問(wèn)題，加之學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容比較陌生或枯燥，因而對(duì)科技英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)失去興趣和學(xué)習(xí)的動(dòng)力?？梢酝ㄟ^(guò)上述多樣性的教學(xué)方法和手段，來(lái)激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。同時(shí)，還可以定期舉辦專(zhuān)題講座，開(kāi)設(shè)外國(guó)文化欣賞、應(yīng)用文寫(xiě)作、英語(yǔ)視聽(tīng)說(shuō)等選修課，組織與專(zhuān)業(yè)相關(guān)的英語(yǔ)競(jìng)賽、定期舉行英語(yǔ)晚會(huì)、等活動(dòng)，為學(xué)生聯(lián)系一些翻譯實(shí)踐工作，提高學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)綜合運(yùn)用能力。這些豐富多彩的英語(yǔ)課外活動(dòng)，可以營(yíng)造良好的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)氛圍，激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的自覺(jué)性和積極性，同時(shí)，也可以提高學(xué)生的自主學(xué)習(xí)的能力、整體文化和信息素養(yǎng)。詞匯既是語(yǔ)言的建筑材料也是語(yǔ)言的生命[4]。
總之，在模具專(zhuān)業(yè)英語(yǔ)的教學(xué)中還有很多需要探索和研究的問(wèn)題。如何以學(xué)生為中心，實(shí)現(xiàn)創(chuàng)造性教學(xué)，進(jìn)一步提高模具專(zhuān)業(yè)英語(yǔ)的教學(xué)質(zhì)量，還是一個(gè)長(zhǎng)期摸索和不斷總結(jié)經(jīng)驗(yàn)的課題。
