Understanding is a bridge between friends and teachers.
One day, our teacher told us that we could have an English exam. And ask us to read books carefully. But my best friend Lisa didn’t listen to the teacher and she spent too much time playing computer games. So she had no time to read books. So she wanted to copy my answers in the English exam. But I didn’t agree with her. I told her not to copy my answers because it was dishonest. But she didn’t understand me, she became angry with me.
In that English exam, she copied another student’s answers. So she got high scores. I advised her to tell the teacher the truth, because she had made a mistake.
A few days later, she said she could understand that she would like to be good. But to be good should depend on hard work. From then on, with our help, she became so interested in study that she made great progress. We became good friends.
Now I think understanding is an important part of our life. Understanding can make us successful and bring us much enjoyment.
