倡議書屬于應用文的一種，由標題、稱呼、正文、結尾、落款五部分組成。一般用將來時或一般現在時。題目常會給出標題、稱呼、結尾、落款這四部分，考生只需完成正文即可。這類寫作的'正文包括倡議的目的、內容以及呼吁。
1. 引出倡議目的
常用in order to引出的不定式短語或用with / for the purpose of引導的介詞短語。如：

倡議其實就是提建議，因此，可用be supposed to （應該）， it is suggested that... （建議）， it would be better if... （如果......，那就更好了）等。倡議的內容通常都不只一個，因此可用in addition， besides， additionally， what’s more， furthermore， moreover來列舉這些內容。如：
