材料一：《傷逝十二》郗嘉賓(郗超)喪,左右白郗公:“郎 喪”既聞不悲,因語左右:“殯時可道。”公往臨殯,一慟幾絕。
材料二：《雅量謝公》東晉名相謝安的侄子在前線與八十萬秦兵作戰(zhàn)，這一戰(zhàn)關乎國家危亡，大勝后派人急來報捷。謝安當時正與客人下棋，看完后若無其事的繼續(xù)與客人慢慢下棋，客人問起也只淡淡地說小兒輩破大敵了?！@一戰(zhàn)關系到國之興亡、家之存絕，謝安不可能真的無動于衷，只是越是激動的重要時刻越平靜，才是超脫的風度。
明確：《人琴俱亡》是《世說新語傷逝》第十六篇，結合其余十八篇來看，《人琴俱亡》作為其中一篇還是較為集中的體現(xiàn)了魏晉時期文人士大夫的某種思想性格特點及其文化特征——在任由性情、不拘矩度、注重情感的個性表達的同時，還故作曠達追求一種超脫的風度，魏晉風度。所以子猷的不悲不哭正好體現(xiàn)了魏晉時代士人獨特的思想情感追求——他們注重真性情，追求個性的自由飛揚，同時又力求能擺脫世俗的一切利害得失、榮辱毀譽，尋求一種超然的風度。為此，盡管子敬很悲痛，卻還是要強自抑制。
