2.設備的選型應注意通用化、標準化，嚴禁采購無生產(chǎn)許可證、無質(zhì)量合格證、無煤礦安全標志的質(zhì)次價高、假冒偽劣產(chǎn)品。
隊組安裝完畢后，需經(jīng)礦方機電科、公司機電供應部及生產(chǎn)廠家經(jīng)過聯(lián)合試運轉(zhuǎn)達到運行標準，經(jīng)驗收合格后，方可投入使用。
1.設備的運行管理：
完善電機綜合保護裝置，確保其靈敏可靠，防止設備損壞事故發(fā)生。
通過定期檢查，發(fā)現(xiàn)設備隱患及早排除，避免故障擴大，徹底根除設備不壞不修問題。
對設備的緊固件松動情況進行檢查，并及時緊固。
對設備局部和重點部位進行拆卸、檢查，查看部件磨損情況； 對磨損超限部件進行更換；
按規(guī)定清洗油箱、更換新油； 3.設備定期檢修
需要委托外部檢修的，由機電供應部統(tǒng)一組織。

防爆設備及小型電器防爆率100％，小型電器合格率95％，電纜吊掛合格率95％。機電供應部對井下供電系統(tǒng)、防爆設備、三大保護、電纜、風電閉鎖、瓦斯電閉鎖等實行監(jiān)督檢查，查出的問題以四定表的形式下達所屬責任隊組限期整改。
防爆電氣設備無論在礦井任何地方安裝使用，均按防爆設備檢查和維護。

掘進皮帶缺緩沖托滾有一處罰責任者50元。 減速器漏油嚴重者罰包機責任者100元。
造成設備事故的，嚴肅追究責任，根據(jù)情節(jié)罰其它有關(guān)領導200—500元。
未按規(guī)定安裝壓風自救裝置和供水施救裝置，有一處罰責任者300元，未連接或不能使用，有一處罰責任者100元。
及時更換堵塞的噴霧頭。不使用冷卻水罰款200元/次，一個噴嘴不能噴霧,罰款20元。
缺一處或一處不合格罰款200元，一次不正常使用罰款100元/處。
井下備用設備及部件，如不按指定地點存放，每件每天罰款30元，（如：sgb—40t刮板機、槽子、套桶、聯(lián)軸節(jié)、皮帶滾筒等）。
在采掘工作面出現(xiàn)無碳柱等特殊地質(zhì)構(gòu)造時生產(chǎn)單位不打震動炮。罰單位負責人和責任人各500元。集體罰款5000元。
掘進機使用管理的規(guī)定
⒈掘進司機必須經(jīng)過專業(yè)技術(shù)培訓，考試合格后，方可上崗。 ⒉掘進機司機必須熟悉機器的結(jié)構(gòu)、性能、工作原理。能熟練、準確的操作機器，并懂得一般性維護保養(yǎng)和故障處理知識。
⒊必須堅持使用掘進機上所有的安全閉鎖和保護裝置，不得擅自改動或甩掉不用，不能隨意調(diào)整液壓系統(tǒng)、冷卻噴霧系統(tǒng)各部的壓力。
⒋掘進機必須裝有只準以專用工具開、閉的專用開關(guān)，專用工具必須由專職司機保管。司機離開操作臺時，必須斷開掘進機上的電源開關(guān)。
⒌在掘進機非操作側(cè)，必須裝有能緊急停止運轉(zhuǎn)的按鈕。 ⒍掘進機必須裝有前照明和尾燈。
⒎開動掘進機前必須發(fā)出警報。只有在鏟板前方和截割臂附近無人時，方可開動掘進機。
⒏掘進作業(yè)時，應使用內(nèi)外噴霧裝置，內(nèi)外噴霧裝置水壓必須符合規(guī)定，無內(nèi)噴霧裝置，則必須使用外噴霧裝置和除塵器。
⒐掘進機停止工作和交班時，必須將掘進機截割頭居中落地，并斷開掘進機上的電源開關(guān)和磁力啟動器的隔離開關(guān)。
⒒各種電器設備控制開關(guān)的操作手柄、按鈕、指示儀表等要妥善保護、防止損壞、丟失。
⒓司機操作機器過程中必須安排專人進行監(jiān)護，監(jiān)護人員必須處于安全可靠地點進行監(jiān)護和指揮。司機必須集中精力，不得擅自離開工作崗位，不得委托無證人員操作。
⒔司機必須嚴格執(zhí)行現(xiàn)場交接班制度，填寫交接班日志，對機器運轉(zhuǎn)情況和存在問題要向接班司機交代清楚。
⒕截割頭變速時，應首先切斷截割電機電源，當其轉(zhuǎn)速幾乎為零時方可操作變速器手柄進行變速。嚴禁在高速運轉(zhuǎn)時變速。
⒖司機工作時精神要集中，開機要平穩(wěn)，看好方向線，并聽從監(jiān)護人員指揮。前進時將鏟板落下，后退時將鏟板抬起。發(fā)現(xiàn)有冒頂預兆或危及人員安全時，應立即停機并切斷電源。
⒈接班后，司機應配合班組長認真檢查工作面圍巖和支護、通風、瓦斯及掘進機周圍情況，保證工作區(qū)域安全、整潔、無障礙物。
⒉開機前， 對機器必須進行以下檢查：
將所用延長的電纜、水管沿工作面準備好，吊掛整齊，拖拉在掘進機后方的電纜和水管長度不得超過作業(yè)規(guī)程規(guī)定。
水質(zhì)、水壓、流量應符合規(guī)定，噴水管路、噴嘴應暢通。
⒈開機前必須發(fā)出報警信號，合上隔離開關(guān)，按機器技術(shù)操作規(guī)定順序啟動。
⒉按作業(yè)規(guī)程要求進行截割工作，根據(jù)不同性質(zhì)的煤巖，確定最佳的截割方式。
⒊巖石易破碎的，應在巷道斷面頂部開始掘進；斷面為半煤巖，應在煤巖結(jié)合處的煤層或在較軟的部位開始掘進。司機要按正確的截割循環(huán)方式操作，并注意下列事項: 掘進半煤巖巷道時，應先截割煤，后截割巖石，即先軟后硬的程序。
切割必須考慮煤巖的層理，切割頭應沿層理方向移動，不應橫斷層理。
⒋截割過程中的注意事項: 巖石硬度大于掘進機切割能力時，應停止使用掘進機，并采取其它措施。
如果落煤量大而造成過載時，司機必須立即停車，將掘進機退出，進行處理。嚴禁點動開車處理，以免燒毀電動機或損壞液壓馬達。
切割頭不允許帶負荷起動，推進速度不宜太大，禁止超負荷運轉(zhuǎn)。
截割部與鏟板間距不得小于300毫米，嚴禁切割頭與鏟板相碰。
截割電動機長期工作后，不要立即停冷卻水，應等電動機冷卻數(shù)分鐘后再關(guān)閉水路。
⒈按規(guī)定操作順序停機后，應將掘進機退到安全地點，并將裝載鏟板放在底板上，切割頭縮回，截割滾筒居中放于底板上、關(guān)閉水門，吊掛好電纜和水管。
⒉清除機器上的煤塊和粉塵，不許有浮煤留在鏟板上。
⒊在淋水大的工作面，應將機器墊高，確保電動機不被淹沒。在角度大的上、下山工作面停機時應采取防滑措施。
⒋將所有操作閥、按鈕置于零位，放松離合器，切斷電源，關(guān)好供水開關(guān)。
⒌全面檢查掘進機的各部件及各種安全保護裝置，有問題時應記錄在冊。
⒈掘進機司機接班后空載試運行，檢查更換截齒，缺齒運行每個50元。
⒉掘進機照明燈不亮運行的每次處罰100元。
