1結(jié)合學(xué)情,巧妙練筆
教材是一個巨大的資源庫,我們可以充分挖掘里面潛在的寫作素材,根據(jù)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)情況,巧妙練筆。
1.1 善用課文
學(xué)習(xí)一篇文章后,學(xué)生對課文里的重點(diǎn)詞語、句型及主題都已有一定的了解,這時可以列出若干引導(dǎo)性問題或線索詞,讓學(xué)生寫課文梗概,一方面有利于學(xué)生鞏固課文,另一方面可以鍛煉學(xué)生的寫作能力。相關(guān)的練筆還可以有改寫、擴(kuò)寫或仿寫。如在教授namestories<
names的游戲:讓學(xué)生用一張小紙條以幾句話描述或解釋自己的名字,然后隨意抽出紙條念上面的名字解釋,讓學(xué)生猜“名字謎”。這個環(huán)節(jié)只是小練筆。游戲結(jié)束后,見學(xué)生的情緒仍然高漲,再趁熱打鐵,讓學(xué)生就mv name story為題寫一篇作文。為了幫學(xué)生擴(kuò)展寫作思路,設(shè)計了下面幾個引導(dǎo)性的問題供學(xué)生參考:what do you think o your name? what does your name mean? why did your parents or grandparents give you the name? do you like your name?why?這次練筆是與原課文教學(xué)的一次巧妙結(jié)合,根據(jù)學(xué)生的興趣和學(xué)情自動生成的。由此可見,只要我們用心,教材就是我們可利用的巨大寫作資源庫。
1.2“bulletinboard”的作品展示北師大版教材中每單元都有個bulletinboard,往往成為我們教學(xué)時“被遺忘的角落”。但筆者覺得恰恰這個角落給學(xué)生們提供了一個練筆的平臺,因?yàn)樗3L岢鲆恍W(xué)生感興趣的話題,如:“make a footprint maps how ing the places you’ve visited or want to visit‘what durpose do you use the internet?’’“what qualities should ahem 0rheroinehave?”等,這些話題貼近學(xué)生的生活,學(xué)生們能暢所欲言,各抒己見,就像在網(wǎng)上發(fā)貼一樣。讓學(xué)生把他們的觀點(diǎn)寫在一張小貼紙上,在課室開辟一個角落展示他們的作品。這樣不僅能讓學(xué)生們進(jìn)行心靈的交流及思想的碰撞,而且在不知不覺中就練習(xí)了寫作,達(dá)到了真正書面交流的目的。
2寫日記。
勤練筆不少學(xué)生對英語作文有種畏懼心理,通常是等老師布置作文他們才會動手寫,是典型的“要我寫”的被動狀態(tài)。其實(shí),恰恰是因?yàn)閷懙蒙俨艜X得難。所以,我們要鼓勵學(xué)生多動筆練習(xí),拋開考試與作業(yè)的壓力,從簡單感興趣的東西開始寫。據(jù)觀察,很多學(xué)生有寫日記的習(xí)慣,筆者于是鼓勵學(xué)生嘗試用英語來記日記。學(xué)生開始時會擔(dān)心有些句子寫錯了也不知道,但寫作的過程就是一個自我完善的過程,日記中也許有些表達(dá)不規(guī)范,但隨著學(xué)習(xí)及練習(xí)的不斷深人,學(xué)生隔一段時間再回頭翻看之前寫的日記時,往往就能發(fā)現(xiàn)并改正一些表達(dá)上的錯誤,這時,學(xué)生就會發(fā)現(xiàn)自己在不知不覺地進(jìn)步,那種喜悅及成功感就會油然而生,逐漸愛上寫作,從原來的“要我寫”轉(zhuǎn)而成“我要寫”。只要學(xué)生能持之以恒寫下去,提高作文水平就是水到渠成的事。開發(fā)資源,快樂練筆
在現(xiàn)今信息時代,各種學(xué)習(xí)資源都十分豐富,寫作資源也無處不在,只要我們用心去挖掘,就可以找到很多有助于學(xué)生練筆的機(jī)會,而且我們要盡量本著“寓寫于樂”的原則,充分調(diào)動學(xué)生的寫作積極性。下面是筆者認(rèn)為值得推行的幾種做法:
3.1歌中練筆
不少老師利用英語歌訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的口語及聽力能力,其實(shí),在此基礎(chǔ)上,我們可以將訓(xùn)練進(jìn)一步深入,訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的寫作能力。選歌要符合學(xué)生的愛好、認(rèn)知及貼近生活,以利于寫作練習(xí)的順利進(jìn)行。如在教學(xué)中就曾選取過一 首歌頌友誼 的歌曲 :bridge0ver troubled water.在完 成了聽說的活動后,讓學(xué)生就 truefriendship為題寫一篇短文闡述自己對友誼的看法。類似這樣的寫作活動學(xué)生是比較容易接受的,因?yàn)槁牳杩梢詭Ыo他們美妙的感受,覺得在歌聲中練筆比平常的寫作訓(xùn)練有趣多了。
3.2 英語寫作畫中游
這是指利用圖畫進(jìn)行看圖寫作,旨在鍛煉學(xué)生的語言組織能
力。平時留意收集一些生動有趣貼近學(xué)生生活的漫畫或動畫,作
為寫作素材。如《父與子》系列漫畫就很適合學(xué)生練筆;網(wǎng)上很多
flash動畫也是不錯的寫作素材。看圖寫話有益于鍛煉學(xué)生的想
像力。同一幅畫,不同學(xué)生的表達(dá)方式會大不相同,這可以給學(xué)
優(yōu)生很大的創(chuàng)作空問。
3-3 實(shí)用性練筆
實(shí)用性練筆是把英語寫作運(yùn)用到實(shí)際應(yīng)用中去,方式可以有寫通知、寫請假條、寫賀卡、寫信、發(fā)電子郵件、qq互動等。如學(xué)校搞活動或比賽時,可以要求學(xué)生用英語寫通知;隨著互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的發(fā)展,人與人的交往變得方便快捷,我們應(yīng)該充分享用網(wǎng)絡(luò)時代給予我們的財富。我們可以提倡學(xué)生交一些國外網(wǎng)友,通過e—mail或qq進(jìn)行英語交流。筆者曾有--~tl
